| Anchor is installed perpendicular to the roof peak with D-ring facing awake from peak, with butyl strip lying flush against roof surface. Can be installed over or under roof shingling, but most fasten through sheathing and be fully embedded in roof truss using 3" spiral nails, number of nails depends on anchor type. Warning: Users must strictly adhere to the manufacturer’s inspection, installation, maintenance and use directions; and must follow local, state and federal safety regulations. Structural member must be able to support 5000# force. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or death. |
