| Installed over a minimum 7/16" OSB or plywood sheathing atop a minimum 2x4 top chord. May also be installed through 1.5" thick decking attached to framing per local building codes. Secured through the sheathing and top chord with 6 12d stainless steel spiral shank nails or 5 hex head screws that are provided. Use 1 anchor for each side of the roof or hip. To avoid sideloading or reverse loading. Install 1 anchor on each side of sloped roof at ridge. Warning: Users must strictly adhere to the manufacturer’s inspection, installation, maintenance and use directions; and must follow local, state and federal safety regulations. Structural member must be able to support 5000# force. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or death. |
