Purpose

Anchor for fall arrest for 1 individual. Connects horizontally to I and H beam flanges from 3-24"wide and up to 2-1/2" thick; some models slide along the beam as the worker moves. The fixed unit can be tightened horizontally or vertically, firmly gripping the beam or column to provide a temporary or permanent anchorage attachment.

Installation
Install on approved structural beam only. Press ratchet release and slide adjustable foot to endpoint, release the button. Place anchor over beam and slide adjustable foot towards fixed foot until both are in contact with opposite sides of the beam's flange. Pull back slightly on ratchet release in the next available slot (top face of button should be approximately flush to outer face when properly engaged). Before use, grab opposite ends of anchor and make certain it cannot be removed by twisting or rocking. Warning: Users must strictly adhere to the manufacturer’s inspection, installation, maintenance and use directions; and must follow local, state and federal safety regulations. Structural member must be able to support 5000# force. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or death.
