OT Intervention for Children with Hemiplegia using a multi-component approach

Join us for this day-long course as Shelley Dean Portaro, OTD, OTR/L, presents evidence-based practices in the treatment of pediatric hemiplegia secondary to stroke.

This course will provide a neurological, sensory motor and behavioral theoretical-based course of treatment for a specialized population. Participants will learn the concepts and practice multi-component approaches and clinical reasoning for the selection of traditional and contemporary interventions. They will also learn how to measure efficacy using Goal Attainment Scaling and Abilhand-Kids.
