Presenting a Contemporary Occupational Performance Approach to Pediatric Self-Regulation

Join us on Friday, Feb. 26 as Meredith Gronski, OTD, OTR/L, and Theresa Henry, MSOT, OTR/L, present a continuing education course on pediatric self-regulation.

Self-regulation is a complex issue that affects all aspects of an individual’s well-being, as well as their surrounding relationships and ability to engage productively within varied environments. There are a plethora of resources available to therapists, educators and parents regarding self-regulation and sensory-based strategies. However, we do a disservice to individuals when we use quick fix behavior solutions or a narrowly-focused approach for all children. This course will present a holistic method for approaching individual self-regulation needs across the developmental continuum that results in more comprehensive evaluations, enhanced treatment strategies and better outcomes.
