The Program honored Mrs. Gladys F. Barker, class of 1939, with the inaugural Alumni Achievement Award during a luncheon held in her honor. Throughout her careers, Mrs. Barker has been an exempliary occupational therapist, an outstanding community member, a tireless volunteer, an inspiring motivational speaker, and a lifelong teacher and learner. Although officially "retired," she continues to illustrate her passion for knowledge and sharing of information by facilitating current events classes at OASIS and the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) at Washington University. She remains active in the community, volunteers with several organizations, and enjoys traveling and visiting family. We are proud to have her as an alum, a colleague, and a friend.
