Partner With Us

By its very nature, occupational therapy lends itself to outreach with community partners to develop sustainable programs designed to meet the needs of all members of a community. In our current environment, the needs of our community are varied and many. For us, an opportunity exists to work closely with community partners in order to develop innovative programs to promote building stronger, more resilient communities.

In 2015, we formed the Community Engagement Committee to examine the current status of community need and identify ways for us to best partner with community organizations to address challenges of the populations around us. Through this committee, we hope to uncover opportunities where we can partner with others to integrate research, education and practice at the community level.

The Community Engagement Committee also serves as the entry point for organizations to request assistance. We review the requests that come in from the community, and connect them with the most appropriate resource within the Program. Whether it's student support or consultation with a faculty or staff member, we can direct you to the person that's best-suited to help address your request.
