The Program in Occupational Therapy is proud to welcome Jaime Muñoz, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA, as the inaugural speaker for the Voices of Inclusive Health Care Lecture Series. The title of his lecture is, “Channeling Capacity: Addressing the Occupational Needs of People in Criminal Justice Settings.”

Dr. Muñoz is an associate professor and department chair at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His current scholarly interests focus on exploring the scope of occupational therapy practice in criminal justice systems nationally and internationally. He has a sustained interest in developing and measuring outcomes of community-based occupational therapy programming particularly with populations that are often marginalized.
