Occupational therapists Meghan Doherty, OTD, OTR/L, and Deborah Turley, BSOT, OTR/L, will be our inaugural speakers for our OT Grand Rounds series on Wednesday, April 11. Their talk is titled "Strategies to Improve Work Performance During and After Cancer Treatment."
Cancer survivors encounter unique cognitive, psychological, and physical challenges with return to work. Occupational therapy can provide essential support in this area. Doherty and Turley will share work-related resources, cognitive assessments, communication, and intervention strategies to improve occupational performance during and after cancer treatment.
