Barco participates in AOTA Academic Leadership Institute
Congratulations to Peggy Barco, OTD, OTR/L, SCDCM, CDRS, FAOTA, who was selected to participate in the American Occupational Therapy Association's (AOTA's) 2022-2023 Academic Leadership Institute. The institute develops academic leaders across all levels of occupational therapy education programs. Barco says: “I am honored to be selected and to have the opportunity to learn from our leaders. As co-chairperson of our curriculum committee, I look forward to gaining the knowledge and leadership skills to help transition our curriculum into one that is recognized by core competencies which ensure students of diverse backgrounds have equal access to successful outcomes.”
