Bricker receives 2020 MOTA Outstanding Educator Award

Congratulations to Jessie Bricker, OTD, OTR/L, who received the 2020 Missouri Occupational Therapy Association's Outstanding Educator Award. This award recognizes the administrator, supervisor or educator who promotes professionalism, civic engagement, occupation-based care, volunteerism, mentoring the future generation of occupational therapy practitioners and serves as a positive role model for staff and/or students. Bricker was nominated for this award for her work in developing the Community Wellness Fieldwork, a non-traditional fieldwork option for students whose original fieldwork placement has been canceled or deferred during the ongoing pandemic.
