Grajo co-authors new textbook

Incoming Education Division director Lenin Grajo, PhD, OTR/L, is the co-author of a new textbook, “Adaptation, Coping, and Resilience in Children and Youth.” This groundbreaking text offers a comprehensive, strength-based approach to addressing the ability of children to adjust to a variety of challenges encountered in daily life across multiple environments and contexts. It features underexplored topics such as children who have been bullied, children and youth who are LGBTQ and gender-expansive, children and youth of color, those who live as a member of a migrant family, and those who have lived with and through adverse childhood experiences. Lauren Milton, OTD, OTR/L, contributed to Chapter 13, “Children and Youth Who Have Encountered Adverse Childhood Experiences.”

The book is available for worldwide purchase at Slack Books.
