Congratulations to Kelly Harris, PhD, CCC-SLP, her HOPE Lab and their community partners – the Jennings School District, Healthy Kids Express, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America – St. Louis Chapter, and CareSTL Health – for being selected as a top 10 finalist for the 2024 William H. Danforth St. Louis Confluence Award (STLCA). The STLCA is designed to elevate WashU’s investment in the St. Louis Region by encouraging and rewarding faculty research that enhances our impact in St. Louis. They will be honored on April 10 at the 2024 William H. Danforth St. Louis Confluence Symposium and Award Ceremony. Harris was also a finalist for the 2023 STLCA and is featured in this research summary video (17:33 mark) explaining her Research-School-Community Partnerships to Improve Asthma Management.
