OT Grand Rounds

Occupational therapists Meghan Doherty, OTD, OTR/L, and Deborah Turley, BSOT, OTR/L, will be our inaugural speakers for our OT Grand Rounds series on Wednesday, April 11. Their talk is titled, "Strategies to Improve Work Performance During and After Cancer Treatment."

Cancer survivors encounter unique cognitive, psychological, and physical challenges with return to work. Occupational therapy can provide essential support in this area. Doherty and Turley will share work-related resources, cognitive assessments, communication, and intervention strategies to improve occupational performance during and after cancer treatment.

OT Grand Rounds has been launched in honor of the Program in Occupational Therapy’s 100th anniversary in 2018. Each presentation will have a research, educational or clinical focus on how occupational therapy impacts health care.

This presentation is eligible for one (1) contact hour. Reception to follow in lobby.
