OT Grand Rounds - November 28

Peggy Barco, OTD, OTR/L, SCDCM, CDRS, FAOTA, will be our OT Grand Rounds speaker on November 28. Her talk is titled, "Medical Fitness to Drive: Integrating Education, Practice and Research into a Student Learning Paradigm."

Occupational therapists are often consulted regarding determination of fitness-to-drive in a variety of medical conditions. Dr. Peggy Barco will share how an educational lab for occupational therapy students focused on integrating education, practice and research is helping students become better informed when addressing driving and community mobility.

OT Grand Rounds was launched in honor of the Program in Occupational Therapy’s 100th anniversary in 2018. Each presentation has a research, educational or clinical focus on how occupational therapy impacts health care.

This presentation is eligible for one (1) contact hour. Reception to follow in lobby.
