Taff to receive inaugural 2022 Exemplary Educator Award

Steve Taff, PhD, OTR/L, FNAP, FAOTA, will receive the inaugural 2022 Exemplary Educator Award at the Academy of Educators Education Day on Oct. 11. The award recognizes faculty members with at least six years of service who are actively building a legacy as an educator and have made important contributions to education at Washington University during their tenure.

“Students who are fortunate to have Dr. Steve Taff as a teacher or mentor see that he is devoted to equipping the next generation with knowledge and skills to tackle the complexities of our modern healthcare system and moreover, lead in addressing health disparities and social injustice,” says nominator Lisa Tabor Connor, PhD, MSOT, OTR/L. “He is an exemplary educator whose caring nature, scholarly accomplishments, administrative experience, and advocacy for diversity, equity and inclusion will benefit students and our field for many years to come.”
