Volunteers Needed for Brain Study

Washington University's Program in Occupational Therapy is looking for volunteers to participate in a study about how your brain controls movements in your left hand, and how that differs for people who have nerve injuries. This study involves some movement tests such as drawing, Lego-stacking games, and a brain scan with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

You may be eligible if you:

  • Are right-handed
  • Have a nerve injury that affects your right hand, arm, or shoulder
  • 18+
  • Have no other injuries, diseases, or conditions that impair your hands or arms
  • Have no metal implants in your body

The study lasts 5 hours, provides $110 compensation, and takes place at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. For more information, please provide complete the “Contact Us” form below.
